  Finally got to visit Moonlight Pizza for the first time and everything was wonderful from the pizza to the beers. I wasn't super crazy about the bread sticks but my boyfriend loves them. I prefer to focus solely on things covered with cheese and other delicious toppings.
  
  We split the medium Venus pizza which is a white pie with olive oil, garlic, sweet basil, spinach, mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, onions and pepperoncinis. Our waitress suggested we add pesto and artichoke hearts into the mix and that was a terrific decision!
  
  The appetizer and medium pie was more than enough food for us and trust me, we can put it away. Also, this pizza is awesome if you reheat it on a cast iron skillet.
  
  I'm from South Jersey and good pizza is hard to come by in Colorado so I will definitely make it to Moonlight whenever I can!
  
  The amber ale was also delicious.

  If your in the mood for a real pizzeria but with a funky mountain town feel, great food, micro brews, super fun friendly staff and some of the best patio seating in town then this is your place. I recommend the The T-Guns or Cosmic Hawaiian!

  Great pizza and really good beer. My son loved the in-house made soda. The staff was very friendly and personable. You gotta go to Moonlight Pizza when you're in Salida.
